B — Project background and requirements

A water pontoon manufacturer is an enterprise specializing in the design and production of a series of water projects, including large water pontoons, water docks, close-water platforms, floating docks, yacht docks, cruise ship docks, landscape pontoons, and water houses, etc. During the production process, the company produced a large amount of pallet edge trims and defective products. These scraps are mainly floating boards made of plastic materials, including PE,PP and other materials. In order to respond to customer needs and optimize production processes, we decided to help them improve recycling efficiency and reuse these waste materials.

After in-depth communication with the customer, we learned that the customer mainly needs to crush edge trims of the pallet, and at the same time process the defective materials. Specifically, there are many defective materials of different specifications, and the oversized ones need to be cut and pre-processed before they can be crushed. In addition to the output reaching 1 ton/hour to meet daily needs, it is also necessary to solve the problem of waste accumulation and difficulty in handling, which leads to a decrease in production efficiency, and the difficulty of manual handling of large materials, which causes a waste of human resources.
